The adapter's unique splined design offers maximum strength when used with 17 mm splined wheels, and also fits any standard 17 mm hex wheel. 17 mm hubs work with standard axles only and do not fit Maxx-duty 6 mm axles used in the Extreme HD upgrade kit.
