RC Drag Racing requires very specific wheels and tyres, not just to mimic the look of real drag cars but also for performance.

As RC drag racing is a straight line hobby the front wheels and tyres are usually very small and light whereas the back are really large. Tyres use a thermal compound that gets sticky when hot for maximum traction away from the lights.
