TAMIYA 2003 Ford Focus RS Custom TT-02 Kit 1:10 NO ESC - 58724

This R/C assembly kit faithfully replicates the rally-inspired 2003 Ford Focus RS Custom on the user-friendly TT-02 chassis, ensuring easy assembly and driving enjoyment. Back in 2003, Christian Loriaux, the chief engineer of Ford Motor Co. Team, introduced several modifications to the Focus, including adjustments to the seat position, roll cage, suspension, and enhanced aerodynamics with updates to the bumper shape, hood intake position, and the addition of a prominent rear wing, among other enhancements. The 2-liter inline-4 turbo engine, boasting 300PS and 550Nm of power, propelled this rally car to second place in the Manufacturer ranking four times during its impressive 7-year racing campaign, showcasing its formidable capabilities. This kit offers an opportunity to recreate a customized street version of the car, free from any sponsor logos.

TT-02 Chassis:

The shaft-driven 4WD TT-02 chassis employs a longitudinal layout with the battery on the left and the motor on the right, to give excellent stability. In addition, it features identical left and right suspension arms and uprights for ease of assembly, plus easy-to-maintain gearboxes. It is a highly adaptable chassis, as it offers two different wheelbases, two ground clearance settings and two tread set-ups in addition to a range of ten possible gear ratios. It is not short on looks either, with brake disc-shaped wheel hubs and stylish front bumper supports.
