Shipping Information

 

Getting your goods to you promptly and safely is our primary focus. This is why we only use registered methods of shipping so that shipping of your goods can be tracked at any time whilst they are between us and you. To ensure the secure delivery of your order, all deliveries must be signed by the correct recipient at the final destination.

Delivery Times and Costs

For the majority of orders we aim to have all orders shipped from our store within 24hrs of receiving payment for your goods. This time can on occasion vary depending on outside factors, like weekends, temporary out of stock or the freight method you have chosen.

Freight costs are calculated based on a variety of factors, from size, quantity and weight of your goods and also your delivery location. The cheapest shipping method will be given to you at the time of your order.

RC Garage reserves the right to cancel an order if it deems the freight method is not appropriate to ensure the parcel arrives in an acceptable condition. We will contact you in this case to make other arrangements.

 

Available Freight Options

Australia Post – This is an ordinary post service generally used for smaller items. This service is NOT insured, comes with no tracking number/details, and, is used at the customers own risk. For insured freight please select the Australia Post Registered option.

Australia Post Registered (Eparcel) – This service is insured and has an online track and trace system. You can request a tracking number for any processed online order by emailing info@rcgarage.com.

This service will require a signature on delivery. On the customer’s request we can instruct Australia Post with an ‘Authority To Leave’ which does not require a signature to be taken. If this option is chosen the insurance is invalidated, and, if any consignments are ‘lost’ after our carriers have recorded the parcels as ‘successfully delivered’ they are not covered by RC Garage.

Please email us BEFORE placing your order if you wish to opt for EXPRESS shipping.

Couriers – We use a combination of carriers to ensure flexibility with delivery options. These services are insured and have online track and trace systems. Please contact us BEFORE placing your order to arrange any courier services.

 

Tracking/Consignment Number Notification

You can request a tracking number for any online order by emailing info@rcgarage.com.

 

International Orders

RC Garage does not currently ship outside of Australia.

Faulty Merchandise

When you receive your goods, if you feel they are faulty please call RC Garage on (03)9738-0212 immediately for return instructions. Generally returns will go directly to RC Garage, however some suppliers prefer to handle faulty goods directly. If you find your goods to be faulty after you have used them they may fall under the manufacturer’s warranty, either way one of our helpful customer service team will be able to advise you of the best solution. 

  

Missing Parcels

If you believe your goods have been lost in transit please call RC Garage on (03)9738-0212 with the order number. A track and trace search will be undertaken and enquiries will be made with the freight company to try and locate the missing goods.

 

Missing Parts

Should you receive merchandise that is missing a part please contact us immediately so we can arrange for the part to be sent to you promptly. Some suppliers may require you to contact them directly, in these cases you will be provided with all the relevant details.

 

Missing or Damaged Shipments

Please make sure that that all parcels in your order are present and in good condition before you sign for them. Please don’t sign for boxes with exterior damage as this will immediately invalidate any insurance for ‘Damaged Goods’ and immediately becomes the customers property in its signed condition.
